Mel Gibson has a strong ally in friend Jodie Foster. The actress declared that she?s standing by her pal through this traumatic time in his life.
Gibson is presently under investigation for allegations of domestic violence and child endangerment. He was also involved in the scandal wherein a voice recording of his not so clean language was leaked to the public.
In spite of this, Jodie is very strong in her defense of Gibson, saying that he is the easiest and nicest person she?s ever met. She also told the magazine that when you love a friend, you don?t abandon them when they?re under pressure. She called Gibson a very gifted actor and director.
The two are reunited in the upcoming flick, ?The Beaver? which has yet to have a release date. In this film Gibson plays Foster?s despondent hubby who snaps out of his depression when he befriends a hand puppet.
Jodie further declared that Mel has been a true and loyal friend and hopes that she can help him get through this trial in his life.
